For the record, I never quit I just took a 6 month vacation

Been a while. I'm currently in the process of selling some cards to pay for a trip to the MPC. Seems like a lot has changed in 6 months (last time I played I won IL states with Wookies and Watto).
Does anyone still play in the WI or IL area? Maybe even (dare I say) Minnesota? It'd be good to get some live games in to transition to all of the changes.
The MPC being at a hotel seems like a great move. Last time I was at an event that took place at the hotel was...the last DecipherCon where Angelo Consoli beat Greg Shaw in the finals, and I must say that I'm looking forward to it being in a hotel.
How has everyone been? There are too many forums for me to read up on right now to catch up with people, so feel free to drop me a line and chat.
P.S. I'll be selling other cards for my trip so if you need things (and have ever seen my collection) there's a good chance I have stuff you'll need.

Not sure about Illinois, although I am relatively sure that there are still events around chicago every once in a while.

That's good to know (well not about WI, but that is what I figured anyways). Are there any types of tournaments going on around this time? Seems early for regionals and way early for states but I figured I'd ask.

We are testing the idea of Worlds in August this year, so it's not really early for States/Regionals, although precious few have been scheduled so far.

MPC at the hotel is fantastic. Cuz like if you get done with your match early you can go back to the room and take a nap, or watch basketball, or whatever.

i'm around chicago, and bane slader will hold more events in the burbs when the weather gets warmer. indy has a monthly league with 6-10 people maybe

Mn still has monthly tournaments, having one on Saturday the 6th, and another on either the 20th or 21st (not sure yet, Brady is runing them)
